Barrier-Free at HANSA-PARK

Guests

Guests with restricted mobility enjoy ‘free access’ at HANSA-PARK. You can use almost all attractions without problems – except some very few rides which TÜV, the German Technical Control Board, classifies in a different safety level.

Our pathways have little or no slopes and our separate, barrier-free entrances and easily accessible sanitary facilities make your stay a pleasant one. In addition, our attentive service staff will be at your disposal at any time.

Awarded for Excellence!

Our commitment to free access has been recognised for the second time: the Sozialverband Deutschland e.V., a German social association, has once more awarded the park the quality seal for “Design without Barriers”.

Furthermore in 2003, HANSA-PARK was honoured with the Federal Prize in Silver for its especially family-friendly leisure offers without barriers.

Parking Places

Guests with restricted mobility can use one of our 12 complimentary parking lots in the street "Am Fahrenkrog".

From there, lowered kerbs give you direct and unobstructed access to the entrance area of HANSA-PARK. In addition, the first parking row at the large car park, which is just a bit further down, is reserved for handicapped guests.

From there lifts or escalators lead to the pedestrian bridge from where guests have a first overview of HANSA-PARK. Just follow the way down and you'll get right to the entrance area - an easy and comfortable walk or ride. If you want to conserve your strength, you can also alight at "Am Fahrenkrog" before a companion drives off to park the vehicle.

Tip

Let us know in advance of your restricted walking mobility! When you get to the park, report to Information where a personal guide will be waiting for you.
